Schauman was a frequent guest at Östersundom Gård, which was the home of his hunting partner Leonard Borgström and Leonard's sister Elin Borgström, who was the love of Eugen Schaman's life.  Their home is impressive to this day.  The mansion is still occupied by the same family.
